St. Luke’s sends best wishes for theChristmas season and invites one and all to come and share in our joy.

“Angels We Have Heard on High”:   This  December  during  Sunday  Worship  at  St.  Luke’s,  get  ready  to  laugh  along  as  we   follow  three  archangels-­‐  Michael,  Gabriel,  and  Ariel-­‐  through  the  event  planning   chaos  that  is  the  Birth  of  Christ.    It’s  kind  of  a  big  deal-­‐-­‐  lots  of  moving  parts  and   many  hearts  and  minds  to  prepare  for  our  coming  Savior.    Will  they  succeed?    Of   course.    Will  it  be  easy?    No  way.    Written  by  Marin  Miller  for  the  People  of    St.  Luke’s,  ANGELS  WE  HAVE  HEARD  ON   HIGH  will  be  performed  as  a  5-­‐part  staged-­‐reading  series  by  a  rotating  cast  of   congregation  members.    One  short  scene  will  be  read  each  Sunday  morning  for  4   weeks  beginning  on  Dec.  3rd,  with  the  finale  scene  read  on  Christmas  Eve.

Wassail Potluck Party & Tree Decorating:  Join us on Sunday, December 3, at 5:00 PM to enjoy good food, sing Christmas carols, decorate our Christmas tree and have a great time with one another.

Handel’s Messiah:  On Sunday, December 17, at 9:30 AM, our  Christmas cantata will feature a 50-minute performance of this classic.  A 20-piece orchestra of organ, strings and more will join with our fabulous Kirk Choir under the direction of Dr. Stephen Pu to stir our hearts and souls.

Pacific Bells Handbell Cantata:  Sunday, December 17, at 4:00 PM, all are invited to hear the much-loved and renowned Pacific Bells beautifully perform Christmas music on their glowing handbells.  Light refreshments will follow.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service:  Join us on Sunday, December 24, at 5:00 PM for a family-friendly Christmas eve service, featuring a spontaneous Nativity play in which all may take part!  Pastor Sunny offers his hot apple cider and cookies prior to the service.
